Born and raised in sunny Southern California, Dr. Wendy Yang, board-certified pediatric dentist, studied at the University of California, Los Angeles, where her passion for dentistry blossomed. After earning her MS in Oral Biology at UCLA, she earned her DDS at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and later attended the University of California, San Francisco for Pediatric Residency.
Dr. Wendy has a nurturing heart and believes in kind, quality care for every child. Her San Diego practice stems from a posture of compassion and empathy to provide your little one with the most positive dental experience possible. Her greatest reward is allaying dental fears and inspiring children to grow a lifelong love for their budding smiles, so you can rest knowing your little one is in caring hands.
Dr. Wendy Yang and her staff are the best! Dr. Wendy was very patient, kind, and gentle with my kiddos. She did a phenomenal job at treating his teeth, while still making him feel comfortable in her chair. Honestly, I was amazed. Do yourself a favor and book with Dr. Wendy and her team if your kids need a phenomenal dentist. High recommend!!
I took my son for his two year checkup. He was pretty nervous about going to the dentist but Dr. Yang and her amazing staff really put him at ease. They even had his favorite movie playing which was a huge bonus (they emailed to ask about favorite characters before we showed up). The best part for me was hearing how we were doing and learning how we can improve his dental hygiene.
I had the absolute best experience with Dr Wendy! I never thought I could say taking my 4.5 yr old to the dentist was fun, but me and my son had the best time! I feel so lucky that we found this place and would give it 6 stars if i could!!
It was my daughter's very first dentist appointment but Dr. Wendy and the nurse were very nice and friendly, so that helped my daughter to stay calm. She was not scared at all throughout the visit. Dr. Wendy told us what to do to keep my daughter's teeth healthy, and what to expect for her particular age. Brand new office, very clean and bright. I am glad we have such a nice dental clinic nearby!
