Benefits of a Special Needs Dentist

Why see a special needs dentist? There are a number of reasons that it’s a good idea to choose a professional with experience serving special needs children.

First, you’ll know that your child’s particular needs will be addressed. We will discuss your child’s needs with you directly, ensuring we’re aware of any conditions or behaviors that may affect your child’s care.

We can also make accommodations to ensure your child’s visit to our San Diego office is easier, such as eliminating triggers that may affect children with special needs or sensory disorders.

Finally, you’ll get comprehensive treatment planning. Dr. Wendy will put together a plan that will safeguard your child’s dental health, and outline the steps required to ensure their mouth remains healthy in the future. This gives you peace of mind, and ensures your little one can smile brightly for years to come.
